Dr. Petia Radeva receives the ICREA Acadèmia 2014 Award

Dr. Petia Radeva, researcher at the CVC and professor at the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) has received the ICREA Acadèmia 2014 Award.

The award has recognized the scientific work of thirty experts from around the Catalunya, and the initiative pretends to encourage research excellence of teaching and research in public universities in Catalonia.

Dr. Radeva research focuses on developing computer vision systems and TIC applications to health.  She has published nearly three hundred articles and book chapters and has directed around forty PhD theses and Master dissertations.

She leads  the MiLab research group at the CVC and co-leads the BCN Perceptual Computing Lab at the UB.
