Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
June 17-19, 2015
The seventh edition of the Iberian Conference on Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis, IbPRIA 2015, will be held in Santiago de Compostela (Spain), June 17-19, 2015.
IbPRIA is an international conference co-organised by the Spanish AERFAI and Portuguese APRP chapters of the IAPR International Association for Pattern Recognition. IbPRIA is a single track conference consisting of high quality, previously unpublished papers, presented either orally or as a poster, intended to act as a forum for research groups, engineers and practitioners to present recent results, algorithmic improvements and promising future directions in pattern recognition and image analysis.
This year the IbPRIA 2015 will host demonstrations and exhibitions to allow interested researchers and research organizations the opportunity to demonstrate their research live to the conference attendees. All demonstrations and exhibitions will be certificated with a diploma and the best demonstration will be awarded with the best demo prize. A committee of established researchers and the demo chairs will make the selection of the best demo.
All researchers in pattern recognition and image analysis are invited to submit applications for demonstrations at IbPRIA 2015. Applications are not limited to IbPRIA 2015 papers. Any demonstrations showcasing the effectiveness of the methods of the conference scope are welcome.
It is optional for the presenters to submit as well an article about the demo that would be published in the conference proceedings. The article should follow the general instructions as the conference articles and will be reviewed as well.
Demo applicants should fill out and submit an expression of interest form http://www.ibpria.org/2015/img/others/IbPRIA2015_DemosForm.pdf electronically to the demo organizers (see emails bellow). All presenters of accepted demos must be registered at the conference. The demo chairs will select the accepted demonstrations by their scientific merit.
Exhibitions of company’s technology, products, and publications are also welcome. Our exhibit tables are strategically placed to foster interaction between the exhibitors and conference
attendees, ensuring maximum exposure and interaction. We particularly encourage companies and other commercial entities or laboratories to participate in showcasing their products.
