Catalan Research Center CERCA (Centre de Recerca de Catalunya) organized its third annual conference on Wednesday 8th of June. As one of the key players of our research system, CVC attendded the conference.
CVC´s Director Josep Lladós represented Computer Vision Center during the conference. Each research center under the roof of CERCA had a short presentation about their projects, activities and collaboration opportunities.
About CERCA:
CERCA is a governmental institution created by Generalitat de Catalunya to unite all research centers under a single roof for supervising, supporting and facilitating the activities of the research centers in the system. Set up as a foundation, it was created in 2010 to respond to the commitments of the Catalan Agreement on Research and Innovation. The model for the CERCA research centers of Catalonia has developed quantitatively and qualitatively over the last ten years, and has reached levels of scientific excellence in various areas.
