3rd European Congress for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (EABIP), that will be held in Barcelona on from April 23rd to April 25th will count with Dr. Débora Gil as invited speaker.Her talk “mathematicians meet Bronchoscopists” will be on Friday April 24th at 9:00h during the session 07 on Basic Sciences.
Dr. Antoni Rosell, section chief of pulmonology at Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge is a member of the Board of National Delegates at the EABIP. Dr. Rosell’s team closely collaborates with Dr. Gill in a research project that already produced a PhD thesis.
For the past few years Dr. Débora Gil, among other researchers at the Computer Vision Center, has been working together with endoscopists from Hospital de Bellvitge and Hospital Clinic de Barcelona in different projects with the aim to improve and facilitate polyp detection, diagnosis and surgical processes.
